Sum 41, Introduction to Destruction - Warning: This review may contain information that is immature and inappropriate. Reader discretion is advised.

Not too many DVD’s feature hurling shit, flying piss, and the spreading of shaving lotion in between the butt cheeks of a drunken rock ‘n roll drummer.  That is, not until Sum 41 arrived with “Introduction to Destruction,” a 162-minute program full of antics that would make Beavis and Butthead come back from their graves and well, huh-huh-huh with glee.  Though you get the usual rock band stuff with a live concert filmed in London and all of Sum 41’s high energy videos and behind the scenes footage, the real highlight comes by way of hilarious home movies shot by the band members throughout their tour. This is the kind of stuff that only Beavis fans can truly appreciate, the kind of “pull my finger,” immature, crass, sick sense of humor that often fuels the need to fart in a younger sibling's face. Whether it’s feces hurled at hotel walls, peeing from a two story window, or using squirt guns as assault weapons on unsuspecting pedestrians, some of this stuff looks illegal but a crackup to watch and you can select an optional narration from the band if your require some additional thoughts on the matter. It’s surprising that the band is not in jail, although Stevo the drummer does get "arrested" at one point in the flick.

In the end, the brainpower spent putting together this awesome collection is well worth its price. It’s an insight into a band living the rock star lifestyle but it’s also obvious that Sum 41 is mocking it using their excesses as instruments in their quest for immediate gratification and pleasure. Their music is really a by-product of their energy, charisma and drive. With Sum 41, it’s a package deal and the sum of the parts equal insanity.
