Ian: chicks Cyrus: music, everyday life experiences, its just not one thing. We are just like everyone else. If something happens to me today, its going to affect my music. Everyones music! [Laughing] Q: If you could meet anyone, who would it be? Ian: Id like to meet the singer of Silverchair Steve: Chad would like to meet The Rock, Jordan wants to meet Ron Jeremy!
Cyrus: So long as one person is singing along. I feed off of the crowd. As long as one person is feeling it, its a good show for me. Ian: I feed of the food backstage. For Chad it actually means a lot of young guys in the front row! Jordan: Not going to the bathroom in my pants.
Q: Why did you choose the name New Found Glory? Q: Isnt Red Lobster gross? Ian: Every single person in the world has eaten food with body fluids and dirt on them. Everywhere. Each of us has had an incident where someone messed with the food and we ate it. I am sure we ate some spit in our time. Or other stuff. Its worse for guys cause we dont know what the "other stuff" tastes like. So if we eat it were screwed.
Chad: You should like a band for the music. Regardless of if they are popular or not. Music is music. You cant stop liking a band just cause theyre popular. I used to do that when I was little though. Like when Green Day got popular, I still liked them but it made me mad. Q: Whats your favorite song? Cyrus: "Boy Crazy," cause thats what I am.
Q: Are you working on your next album and when is it due out? Cyrus: It wont be out until next year. Steve: It should be out by next summer [2002].
Chad: Green Day. Cyrus: The Beatles. Chad: No, Silverchair! Steve: Billy Joel rules! Chad: Indiana Jones. Q: What are your tour plans? Q: Are you guys excited about the tour? Chad: Theyre fun to be with. |
