"Power Duo" just isn't something you hear of every day in rock music.  As a matter of fact, you never hear it, with one exception: Local H.   One thing these guys aren't is conventional.  With Joe Daniels on drums and Scott Lucas playing a modified guitar that puts out both guitar and bass tones, these guys hit the stage and rock out.  They leave it all out there for the fans to enjoy.   With Joe positioning his drum kit front and center on the stage and Scott off to one side, there aren't any sequencers to be seen.  While they may be occasionally joined by another musician on stage, basically it's these two pushing the limits of their amps and the house sound system.

They had the nation singing "...you keep it copacetic.." and "well oh, yeah...all right" but have never really received the critical acclaim and notoriety that they have deserved.  When they hit L.A. on a double bill with Fuel, we figured it was time to get the scoop right from the cat's mouth, so we joined them on their tour bus, woke them up, and talked rock...
