When we first sat down with Epic Mazur from Crazy Town, he had blue stars dyed into his bleached blond hair. Epic and his bandmates are serious about stardom. While their music may sound like it's lyrically playful at times and street-tough at others, it becomes apparent in conversation that Crazy Town has their eyes firmly fixed on the prize. Epic, who along with Shifty Shellshock makes up the frontal attack of Crazy Town, knows what the music industry is all about, what to expect and how to make it happen. He's determined to be more than a flash in the pan. He's ready for stardom.

With a story that displays the virtues of hard work and determination, Crazy Town, who's single "Butterfly" has become a crossover hit and gets plenty of airplay, have come up with a different take on the whole rap-rock trend. Rather than trying to be gangstas rapping over metal riffs, Epic and Shifty make the mix of musical styles almost seamless, a result of their various influences and backgrounds. There isn't the "forced" feeling that so many of today's new bands seem to give off. It all flows together to form the distinctive Crazy Town sound.
