"311 is an incredible band to me for a myriad of
reasons.........They gravitated to each other through their love of music, started
with a dream, & did not stop or accept anything less than exactly what
that original vision was..... They have paved their own way, called
their own shots, toured relentlessly & are kings of their castle because of
it. 311 creates a unique sound like no other band through their diverse
musical tastes & influences, always challenging and extending
themselves to grow professionally and creatively...... And always giving 110%
in all they do -- from production 2 recording in their own studio 2 THE
LIVE SHOWS (yes the Palladium went OFF!!!!) 2 their respect for
themselves, other musical groups and their ever growing intensely dedicated
fan base. 311 has never forgotten the roots they came from, how hard it
was 2 get there, and all us ecstatic sweaty people bouncing up & down 2
the righteous groove they lay down..... They exude an aura of !
acceptance, individuality, positivity, equality among sexes & races
that is hard pressed to be found anywhere else in music today...... 311
is 5 very real grounded guys who have INCREDIBLE families & friends who
have supported them every step of their incredible journey to music
stardom. Their music is amazing to me......makes me feel like NOTHING else
on this Earth..... 311 gets me high on life...."
